In December I gave up my spot at the St. Louis Post Dispatch’s only shopping blogger. Part of the sacrifice of moving from Missouri to Virginia, I sadly relinquished the spot to two new bloggers who began this week. I miss the routine of the column, a weekly writing gig that lasted over two years and then became the blog. Of course that’s what got me blogging here.
When I started StlWorkingMom, I decided that this blog would primarily be about being a working mom and would share those experiences, funny kid stories, helpful tips and it would not be about shopping. Contractually, I was committed to writing about shopping for the Post, so I would link to Shop Talk here, but not write about fashion or shopping in my posts.
As of this moment, I can write about whatever I want! I don’t know that this will turn into a shop blog but I will tarry down that path whenever I darn well please (future posts about ghastly muffintops, VPLs and excellent sales sure to follow).
