I’m facing a new challenge this week. The kids are on spring break and will be at home, trying to entertain themselves while I work. I found this article refreshing, even encouraging. I’m fortunate because my home office was an office from the start, not a converted bedroom or other living space. It’s as dedicated as I am, comfortable, not overcrowded, and far enough away from the family hubub that I can not only resist temptations (Oprah, the kitchen) but forget that I’m at home.

At the end of the day, no one who has a home office, no matter how miserable, wants to give it up.
