We’re “vacationing” in St. Louis. I say “vacationing” because we are, in terms of not working and burning vaction time, but really we’re just hanging out in old haunts and seeing friends and family. No beaches or mai tais for us!
We went to Bandana’s for dinner with friends. As we were finishing Trish whipped one of these out of her bag. Trish said, “Don’t think I’m weird . . . ” and we didn’t! We thought it was cool. She doesn’t like to use styrofoam and as a work-at-home person, loves leftovers for lunch.
We were discussing retirement options with the girl — I’m not sure how it came up, but the girl said she’d split the cost of our retirement home with the boy if we needed her to, you know, when we’re old. Then she said, “How much medication do you think you’re gonna need?”
Enough to not know we’re old, I guess.
We’re getting ready for the final event of our vacation — a friends reunion of sorts — kind of like the family variety, only with people to whom we’re not related. There will be between 35-40 of us at the park on Saturday. I can hardly wait!

So, is this an ivite only event?
