$1.00 /hr and all the ice tea or lemonade I could drink, bailing hay (1972-3)
then $1.45/hr detassling corn (1973)
then $1.80/hr washing dishes at Howard Johnson's (1974)
made a whopping $2.25/hr as night cook by 1977 when I left for college...see why I stayed in college?

Sears, men's clothing at Christmas. This is where I learned people will buy absolutely anything when they are desperate for a Christmas gift.
Think it might have been about $2.65/hr.
