Blogger Gathering in St. Louis?
I’ve been pondering this idea for awhile. There are so many bloggers in St. Louis that I’d like to meet and hang out with. So here’s the question: if I host a St. Louis blogger gathering (I’m thinking spring ‘08), would you like it to be:
- Informational and content-focused, i.e. a mini-blogging conference with a variety of topics?
- Casual and chatty — just a bunch of folks with carpal tunnel drinking lattes?
- Some combination of the two?
Oh, and most importantly, would you go to a St. Louis blogger gathering?

I’d go! Sounds like fun. I’d vote for a combination of the two. I am always up for meeting new people and learning a thing or two. I could bring cupcakes.

I never in my wildest dreams envisioned a STLBlogger get-together with presentations and panels and Type A stuff like that.
Not that I’m opposed to a big hurrah, I just can’t wrap my head around it.

I’m down; but only because I knew so many of you guys in person first … I still have the stigma that it’s ‘bizarre’ to meet people in person who were first introduced online (which is weird because I’m a blogger and thus demand the readership of an online audience). I say casual!

How exactly do you find the time to juggle everything so well? You work, you volunteer, you have a family, and now you’re organizing a blogger gathering. Uh-may-zing.

It’s unbelieveable what you can do when you don’t clean, exercise or watch TV.
I may die at an early age but, dammit, I will have been productive.

I’d prefer casual - and yes, if you do it on a weekend. Its hard to drive up during the week.
