Tears to my eyes, too . . .
It's funny how much we all need to relate our story of where we were, what we were doing, how we found out. Your story, of course, is frighteningly close to the tragedy that unfolded, but we all remember and want to tell. Interestingly, I didn't see a TV until about 3 that afternoon, listened to the whole thing unfold on the radio. Nothing could have prepared me for the images I saw later. Probably kind of the same for you. Thanks for sharing this.

This was beautifully written - brought tears to my eyes - thank you, Mj.

I remember it all vividly, too - and it still makes me sick to my stomach to think about it. We need to make ourselves remember, though - we have to, so we can remember and honor those who died and do everything we can to make sure it doesn't happen again.
