I actually did use a life coach after having Princess #2, realizing that full-time work with two Princesses was too much for me, and going through a total meltdown crisis “what do I do now?”kind of thing. The coach helped me figure out what would work best for my family and my employer (Standing Partnership shout-out here – the place rocks!), and a year later, I’m absolutely loving my part-time position and life with my royal brood again. It totally worked for me.

Oh my. . . now for the true confessions time. Yes, I’ve had a life coach and although I’m not currently in a client/coach relationship with her, she has been very important person in my life. In fact, I blogged about her a couple of weeks ago. Suffice it to say that she’s done a good job of seeing possibilities that I couldn’t and keeping me accountable for my choices. Yes, a life coach. . who would have “thunk” it!!

I began Life Coaching last year and find I learn as much from my
clients as I have to give them.
If you are not living the life you want perhaps you are asking for
too many material things and it is time to detach yourself from
NEED and search for WANT instead.

We had an educational session at work yesterday about coaching people and being better managers. I would certainly use a life coach, although I haven’t found one yet.
