Sounds like a wonderful tradition. Here's my favorite Halloween tradition: fix a huge pot of chili or another crockpot friendly meal, and sit by a bonfire handing out candy, eating chili, and drinking in life and the lovely bite of fall with the neighbors and a few beers.
