Mom Blogs that Rock: Fatuous Observations

This is Patience Crabstick, and this is her blog, Fatuous Observations.

Patience (not her real name) is a nursing student in Charlottesville, and a very hardworking mom to three kids. She also may very well be the best writer in Charlottesville (with apologies to John Grisham.) Evidence from her blog:

“Then again, if I hired someone, my house might be one of those places in which the sun slanting through the windows is free of dust motes, the teakettle on the stove sparkles like a mirror, there is no dust collecting on the tops of the baseboards, there are no butter knives in the couch cusions, the children always behave perfectly and the mother is gorgeous and fashionable and a good cook.”

And that’s why she’s featured as this week’s Mom Blog that Rocks; a working mom who shares the dream we all have and yet, lives the life we all lead.
