I admire Kim for asking for help, realizing she needs a "moment" off. I wish that I had reached out more when my kids were babies... I admit that I tried to be a martyr. Bad decision all around. So, good for you! Have a great time and next month, do it all over again :)

Thank you so much for looking after her this evening! I can't tell you how much we appreciated a few hours alone and knowing she was in excellent company. She told me she had a grand time!

The best way to have a baby! It gives those of us w/older children who sometimes have the (erlach!) urge to do it over again the chance to do two things...drool over a baby and realize we LOVE drooling over babies...for a temporary bit of time. BTW, my husband is an ace w/ babies and small children as well...probably because he can act just like them! Seriously, they LOVE him and LAUGH at him endlessly. When we visit homes w/ small children, he is no sooner in the door than the words, "Uncle Howie, come play a game with me...these are the rules..." come out of some small tyrant's mouth.

The baby girl's grandmother here. I must admit to a bit of envy [In truth, I'm totally green with it! :)] over your getting to hold the sweet thing tonight. Seriously, thank you so much for being there so that our "kids" can have a date night. Enjoy!
