Unpacking

Today, I took all my little carry-on sized items, the “go-bag” contents out and put them away. I don’t know when I will travel next and it likely won’t be very soon. The  only travel I know about is a summer vacation and (fingers crossed) a potential speaking opportunity in Chicago.

After the last five years of being constantly prepared to take a trip and travel most months (sometimes a couple of times in a single month), it’s very strange to know I won’t be boarding a plane anytime soon.

It feels FREAKING AWESOME.

What, you mean you won’t miss the flight delays, long flights, and hotel stays? 🙂 I am late in offering my congratulations to you on your recent transition. Congratulations! It does sound AWESOME.
